Major stars were noticeably missing from Tuesday's nominations. Silk Sonic did not submit themselves for consideration. Their song "Leave the Door Open" won four awards last year, including Song and Record of the year, and it was expected that their album An Evening With Silk Sonic would have received similar praise. Mars said they wouldn't be crazy to ask for more. Drake and The Weeknd didn't want to submit their work.
