During the team's three-game losing streak, the focus was on the play of Tom Brady and the criticism of offensive coordinators was unfair.

"I don't think it was fair to him, I'm a senior adviser on the team," he said. Brady was playing bad but nobody will say he was bad. There were growing pains on the offensive front and we weren't running well. When you're losing yards running the ball, it's time to put the ball in Tom's hands.

Brady threw for just two touchdown in the four losses for the Bucs. If the team is able to win the weak NFC South, the losses to Carolina and Pittsburgh will play a big part in the seeding of the playoffs.

Injuries to the offensive line and receiving corps have led to a general inconsistency that is frustrating the veteran quarterback. Brady is second in the NFL in passing yards, but he has thrown more touchdown passes than Marcus Mariota.

The Bucs finished second in the NFL in red- zone touchdown percentage.

Brady is on pace for 20 touchdown passes, which would be the worst mark since 2001.

Even if it wasn't done through the air, the offense was much more effective in the win over the Seattle Seahawks.

In Week 11 the Bucs are off, and then in Week 12 they play the ClevelandBrowns.
