Steve Jobs’ raggedy old sandals just sold for $200,000 at an auction

Someone paid $218,750 for a pair of raggedy old sandals worn by Steve Jobs. There is a non-fungible token with it.

Jobs wore the sandals when he first started Apple in the 70s and 80s. They were recovered from the trash and put up for sale.

Sheff said that Jobs kept a lot of things, so he picked up the sandals when he was ready to throw them away. He told Insider at the time that they brought some to Goodwill after keeping some. We ended up with a collection that was random. The sandals were auctioned off in 2016 for $2,000.

The sandals were expected to sell for $60,000 to $80,000, but they sold for $80,000. The sandals are well used but still look good. The feet of Steve Jobs were shaped after many years of use.

The person who bought the shoes placed the winning bid at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. The sandals were shown off in various places before they were put up for auction a second time.
