  • Apple Watch Ultra

Scuba divers, alpinists, and other daredevils now have a more rugged Apple Wearable device to take on their expeditions. The Ultra has many wilderness- ready features. Thanks to its dual-frequencyGPS receiver, it is possible to track location even in heavily wooded areas. If you use WatchOS 9's Low Power mode, the Ultra will give you 36 hours of battery life. We keep finding more reasons to wear the Ultra, so we run into the battery limit a lot.

  • Hyundai 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE

We loved the Ioniq 5's fast-charging tech, relaxed ride, and smart interior appointments. The five-door was family-friendly, but it had a sub 300 mile range. The range of the rear-wheel-drive model has been extended by a small battery option in the latest update.

  • Phaidon Press 'Revolution: The History of Turntable Design'

You can take a look at the photographic history of the phonograph. Every chapter of the book covers a decade in the evolution of the record player, with essays on technology and photos of cutting-edge designs. Audiophiles will find curiosities, like the Philips 113 portable record player from the 1970s, which is the prettiest turntable ever.

  • Some people remember a bird's song after hearing it for the first time. Other people may have thought, "Why isn't there a way to tell a bird's name?" The haikubox is what it is. The device listens for nearby birds, sends a clip to a server where the species is identified by a neural net, and then sends an alert to your phone. The cost of the cloud-based ID service is $60 a year. It is a piece of technology that increases your connection to the real world.

  • You always forget to charge your earbuds. Urbanista has everything you need. The charging case has a solar cell that slurps energy from the sun to fill the battery inside. • We like this iteration of the Clip speaker more than the previous ones. The waterproof speaker is about the size of a hockey puck and has a 10-hour battery. It's sound is bold and small.

  • It's difficult to find portable PCs with good gaming oomph. The machine has 16 gig of ram and a graphics card that is more powerful than the spec sheet suggests. There is a good keyboard and cooling fans that match the graphics and power. The screen is not as bright as it could be, and the trackpad isn't as springiest, but you can't expect perfect results at this price.

  • ‘Lego: The Art of the Minifigure’

The Lego minifigure, a semi-articulated friendly with fixed smiles, has populated brick castles, towns, airports, and space stations since the late 1970s. The reason to purchase this TV is that it is the prettiest and most sensible set we have seen all year. The One Connect box is attached to the center-mounted pedestal and provides the TV with power and A/V signals. You can hide the wires below the TV or mount the set on the wall without having to worry about cable runs. The sound system puts out a decent amount of bumps. When the 8K revolution arrives, you will have everything you need to enjoy it on a screen that is almost as large as a book.

The jacket is made from recycled fabric and undyed to give it a smaller eco footprint.
