On November 14th, Bleacher Report covered the WWE Raw show.

The pay-per-view is still being planned because WarGames is coming up next weekend.

Some stories addressed on Monday's show may not have a big impact on the pay per view.

The Miz hosted another episode of his talk show, as well as Matt Riddle taking on Chad Gable of Alpha Academy.

Everything that happened on Monday's show can be found here.

Rollins was going to deliver a promo at the beginning of the show. Bobby Lashley stopped Austin Theory from cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase after he destroyed Rollins.

He joined him in the ring and said he would continue to beat him up until he got the U.S title back. A referee was brought down by a man who wanted a match to avenge being attacked.

Lashley was able to prevent Ali from attacking him twice. He warned him that he would regret it if he went ahead with the match. Ali hit a drop kick after the bell rang. The powerhouse rammed his head into the same post as he picked Ali up.

Lashley kept preventing Ali from making a comeback. When Ali got to his feet, he almost looked amazed, but that didn't stop him from continuing to punish him.

The Hurt Lock was applied by The AllMighty after hitting a Spear. The first 20 minutes of Raw gave some solid entertainment. The promo from Lashley was very impressive, while Ali looked defeated. Even though it had a few sloppy moments, it was still what it needed to be.

    The winner is Bobby Lashley.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Rollins is clearly a babyface but is still acting as cocky as ever. It's a nice change of pace from babyfaces in WWE always acting like good guys.
    • When Lashley is allowed to be who he wants, he is very good on the mic.
    • The spot Lashley does when he runs his opponents into the ring post always looks so brutal. It's one of his best moves.
    • The first tornado DDT attempt did not go well, but Ali hit it flush the second time.

Mia Yim had her first match under the WWE banner on Monday when she faced off against Tamina.

The HBIC was given the task of taking on a powerhouse like Ripley. She definitely fits the bill from a physical standpoint, even though she wasn't as successful as Ripley.

Ripley and Dominik Mysterio came out to watch the action, which allowed Tamina to take advantage of it. The match was short and there was a lack of chemistry between the competitors.

When Ripley teased a confrontation but backed down, the crowd gave this match nothing but indifference.

    The winner is Mia Yim.

    A-

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Luke Gallows said he is responsible for bringing Yim in because he has a way with the ladies. Who would have ever thought Festus would be bragging about his prowess with the opposite sex all these years later?
    • Tamina looked good when she tried to hit the Superfly Splash. Sometimes she doesn't get a lot of distance or elevation, but this jump had it.
    • There was a moment when Yim was going to whip Tamina into the corner and it looked like Tamina had no idea what to do.

The third match of the night took place after a brief encounter backstage. They may have had some unfinished business since they had several encounters earlier in the year.

The two men had a nice technical exchange for the first few minutes. It wasn't Gable's main source of offense.

There is no denying that Riddle is capable of doing things. He and Gable are both elite athletes who know how to put on a good match.

Gable was able to score the pin with help from Otis, who held his feet on the bottom rope for leverage, after the bro started to build some steam.

You will be hard-pressed to find a match like this one. The men brought their A game.

    The winner is Chad Gable.

    The grade was A-.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • The fluidity with which Gable moves is unmatched. Few people have his level of confidence in the ring.
    • Gable's German suplex off the top turnbuckle looked awesome. Riddle floating over and landing on his stomach helped sell the move, too.
    • Yelling "Shoosh" and "Bro" at each other was a little annoying but the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Shelton Benjamin and Dominik Mysterio had a match after Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis had a fight backstage. The Priests were in Dom's corner.

The young star jumped out of the ring after hitting Benjamin, to avoid a fight. The Gold Standard regained the advantage after he tried to attack from behind.

Dom tried to get the advantage by using dirty tricks. Benjamin was not going to go down without a fight. A distraction from his allies allowed the younger Mysterio to ram Benjamin into the ring post and hit a Frog Splash for the win.

The match showed how much work Dom has to do before he can be compared to someone like The Gold Standard.

    The winner was Dominik Mysterio.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Leave a comment with what you think Ripley whispers to Dom every week.
    • Benjamin needs to be on TV more often. He's good on the mic, great in the ring and has veteran experience he can impart on the younger stars. He has such much value.
    • Some of the counters Benjamin used in this match were awesome. He is one of those guys who makes every little thing he does look good.

Iyo Sky was working against Dana Brooke. At the ringside, she did not seem interested in what was happening.

Cross was looking up at the rafters as he walked around the ring. She looked like she was concentrating on what was happening in the arena.

Sky was able to quickly take control of the game because she was able to use her speed and agility. She picked up the win with the over the moonsault Even in the simplest of matches, Sky stands out for her aerial ability.

    The winner is Iyo Sky.

A grade of C is assigned.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • It seems like WWE has officially dropped the 24/7 Championship. There was no mention of anyone using the title moving forward. They talked about it being thrown in the trash, so that is likely where it will stay.
    • Sky's entrance music is so much better than the Damage CTRL theme. She should still use that for singles matches.
    • Brooke has improved over the years, but not enough. She still looks uncertain of herself at times.
    • Yim came out after the match to let Damage CTRL know she was turning them down for WarGames because she was joining the opposing team.

Austin Theory gave a promo about what has been going on with him, but he was interrupted by a man. They decided to have a match to see if the former Mr. Money in the Bank has changed.

Theory was put through a physical match by the former world champ. The 25-year-old started showing more aggression before the break.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that these guys worked well together. He works well with a lot of people.

Theory sent him into the ring post multiple times after he fought out a sleeper. Theory hit two A-Town Downs in a row despite a close call. He did not attempt to pin him. The ref called for the bell after he began beating him down more at ringside.

Theory ripped apart the ringside as he unloaded. Several officials pulled him away. Theory's character could have been changed by this method. The way the match ended did more for him than a simple win. Let's hope he stays on top of his game.

    The winner is Austin Theory.

    The grade was A-.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Theory did not have his cell phone with him, so the selfie part of his gimmick may be dead.
    • Do you think they both intentionally wore gear with camo designs or was that just a coincidence?
    • Nobody sells getting rammed into a turnbuckle better than Ziggler.
    • Seeing a more serious Theory gives hope that he can be rehabbed into a much less annoying character.

The former 205 Live regular challenged Baron to a match when he tried to cheat after cleaning out Baron and JBL.

Tozawa was able to get in a lot of offense against The New Wrestling God despite giving up a few inches.

After catching him flying off the top rope, he hit End of days for a quick win. The backstage segment leading up to this match was kind of funny, but the bout itself only showed how talented and underused Tozawa is.

The crowd would have gone crazy if it was the other way.

The person who was the winner was Baron Corbin.

A grade of C is assigned.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Triple H has made so many positive changes since he took over. The one thing he still needs to do is allow Tozawa to stop dressing like a ninja.
    • Corbin sidestepping a suicide dive to send Tozawa into the barricade looked brutal.

The United States Championship was at stake this week when Balor and Rollins stepped into the ring.

The two are similar in experience and skills, but the taller one had the upper hand initially. The Prince kept fighting because of his speed and technical ability.

The Visionary was on defense after being pushed into the announce table. It would take forever to give a full breakdown of the work that was done by the company. If you didn't get to see it live, you should take the time to watch the full match because it was great.

Two of the most versatile veterans work here. It's a recipe for success if you put two guys like that together.

There was a lot of chaos as the OC and Judgment Day fought around the ring. In a fantastic main event, Rollins was able to retain the title by hitting a Stomp. After the show was over, Theory attacked and ended the show with the U.S. title in his hand.

    The winner isSeth Rollins.

    The grade was A-.

There are notable moments and observations.

    • Rollins had a brief interaction with Otis and Gable backstage that was way funnier than it should have been.
    • The crowd cannot get enough of singing Rollins' music.
    • Balor is great at not looking like an underdog just because he is smaller than most of his opponents. For some reason, it's easy to take him seriously as a threat to just about anybody.
    • The way Rollins hit the corner of the announce table looked painful. He sold it well.
    • Rollins has a great sit-out powerbomb. He lands with his legs already on top of his opponent's arms instead of having to adjust after the landing.
