The team could be in for a major change after the team fell to last in the division.

Dennis Allen, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints, said Monday that he is trying to get Jameis Winston back as the starter for this week's game against the Los Angeles Rams, though a decision hasn't been made.

Allen thinks we need to look at everything. We need to look at everything. As we prepare for the Rams, we will go through that process.

The past seven games have been for the Saints and they have started the same person every game. If the offense continued to perform well with him under center, he would be the starter. After scoring over 20 points in five straight outings, New Orleans has scored just 23 points in its last two games.

He is pushing to play despite the fact that he might not fully recover this year, Allen said, adding that a decision for this week's starter will also come down to the health of the quarterback.

Allen said that they might have to visit with him or the medical staff. I don't know if Jameis will be 100 percent healthy this year. He's in here every day and working with the trainers to get himself ready. I think he's close to being there.

Injuries to the offensive line will affect the decision on the starting quarterback. The New Orleans center was put on injured reserve. Right guard Andrus Peat and left tackle James Hurst both left the game with concussions.

Allen thinks everything goes into the decision No decisions are made in a vacuum. We have to do what we think gives our team the best chance to win. It will come down to that.

The Saints have three games left before their Bye in Week 14. The first place team in the South is 5-5.

New Orleans will need to go with its best option to keep pace in the division, and that could be Jameis, who showed his potential last year with a 14-to-3 touchdown-to-Interception ratio.
