The 2022-23 girls' high school basketball season has begun in a few states, and we are a few weeks away from the start of the season.

We find some familiar teams at the top of the rankings as we look forward to national events like the She Got Game Classic.

A Duke commit and two other top-20 prospects are back at Sidwell Friends School for the second year in a row.

There are three California schools near the top. Sierra Canyon is led by two people. Kennedy Smith and Aliyahna Morris are back for Etiwanda. Breya Cunningham and Jada Williams are two of the Arizona signees.

Montverde Academy brought in a South Carolina signee to join the returning seniors.
