WWE Rumors: Kevin Owens' Knee Injury Diagnosed as MCL Sprain

Kevin Owens could be out of action for a few weeks due to a knee injury he sustained during a match at a live event in Madison, Wisconsin.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, Owens had to be helped to the back after his match against Austin Theory and later was diagnosed with a MCL injury. The injury could be worse if it hadn't dodged a bullet, according to Meltzer.

Owens works high-intensity matches and delivers fiery promo.

It is not known if the injury to Owens will affect his status for the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event that will feature a pair of War Games matches.
