It wasn't an accident. It was irrefutable.

The Week 10 game between two of the league's worst teams in Las Vegas proved that taking legal action against the league was worth it.

It wasn't just another bad loss for a bad team led by a horrible coach whose resume has also shown that he's incapable when the Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Only in this country could a white coach with a bad track record compete against a white coach who was making his coaching debut in a game that didn't include teenagers, while the league is being taken to court for situations just like this one, and it's broadcast on CBS for millions It was a great example of how America works.

If you get angry when you hear the term "white privilege", let me explain it to you. It doesn't mean that white people don't have problems. White people enjoy advantages because of the color of their skin. We don't blame you for the problem. When it happens so often, we want you to own it and acknowledge it.

White privilege was on full display in the Colts/Raiders game because they wouldn't have been hired if they were black. White people are more likely to experience failing up and being chosen for jobs without a resume. This is the reason Skip Bayless thinks he can be a good general manager in the National Football League. Another example of white privilege is the fact that Mike Mayock became the Raiders GM after leaving TV. After a successful run on television that was all due to winning a single Super Bowl in Tampa Bay, with a team that was built by their former coach, we were given a 10-year, $100 million contract to coach by the team that was built by their former coach, and we found out

Jim Irsay was dumb enough to offer him the position that he took. Saturday still refuses to acknowledge that he shouldn't be here as his race is the sole reason why he has a headset. Reggie Wayne wasn't hired by Irsay.

Not only was the game featuring a man who used to coach high school and another that has lost 24 of his last 31 games as an NFL head coach a slap in the face to every Black head coach, Black coordinators, or Black man or woman of color, it was also a slap in

There used to be a way for coaches to go about their work. Black people used to be able to become a head coach if they were a defensive coordinators. When an emphasis was placed on the offensive side of the ball, Kansas City's Eric Bieniemy and Tampa'sByron Leftwich are still waiting for their chance. There were two paths to success for white coaches, one of which was to be a respected veteran with experience, and the other was to be a young innovative mind that was a copy of a successful coach.

Now is the time for that to end.

The ladder of success for all coaches in the NFL was broken when Jeff Saturday defeated Josh McDaniels. Being the guy that an owner likes the most without knowing what those characteristics are is the focus. You could be an assistant on the sideline or on the TV. Despite the lack of experience you may have and how crazy all of this may sound, you will likely win your first game due to the way that owners are hiring coaches. Anyone can if Jeff Saturday can do it. You can make your own decision.
