The leader of the Make America Great Again movement has finally met her match.

With every new vote count, Lake's hopes of becoming Arizona's Governor are diminishing.

Lake is not out of the woods yet, but her chances of pulling off a victory are not realistic given the number of remaining votes.

She was losing by a wide margin. There will be an automatic recount if the final margin is less than half a percentage point. It would take a long time to drag out this drama.

The voters who turned on her need to be thanked. The voters built a wall to keep the restrictionists out.

None of Lake's or other MAGA claims are sticking

We've heard voters' powerful message for the last few days. It is a good thing that none of the candidates are sticking to their guns.

They puffed over a computer glitch that affected some machines. The people screamed voter fraud.

Voters were able to cast their votes despite the glitch. It didn't stick with Arizonans who are tired of hearing conspiracy theories and the lies of a stolen election

Arizona's political credentials are hard to top.

Lake and other MAGA candidates later accused the election officials of deliberately dragging their feet in counting votes, conveniently forgetting that the majority of the election officials are Republicans.

It didn't stick.

That's Donald Trump. Lake was one of the hand-picked candidates that the former president was upset about. He accused the election of being fraudulent.

It didn't stick.

Their reaction is reassurance: You voted wisely

Some of Lake's supporters called for military intervention because she was losing.

A protester outside the ballot counting center said the military should redo the election.

I don't think you're right. Lake's supporters would like the U.S. military to take over and make sure she wins.

Don't worry. It isn't sticking.

Lake looks like a dictator because of the few protesters calling for military intervention.

The slow vote count makes us feel normal, even though it is exasperating.

There are gasps and excitement when the vote count is announced. We want mutual respect at the ballot box.
