Why Orlovsky isn't putting all the blame for the Bills' loss on Josh Allen (1:57)

The Bills lost to the Vikings in OT. There is a time and a place for this.

12:05 PM ET

There were 12 men on the field when the Bills made a critical defensive play in overtime against the Vikings.

The Vikings had a first-and-goal at the Bills' 2-yard line when the play happened.

Dalvin Cook was tackled for a loss. Kevin O'Connell said after the game that he believed there were 12 players on the field, but he wanted to confirm that by video. There are 12 defensive players in the video.

The Vikings would have had first down at the 1-yard line instead of second-and- goal if it had been flagged.

KirkCousins threw an incompletion on third down after taking a sack and a field goal gave the Bills a possession.

O'Connell knows it's moving fast.

The NFL's on-site replay booth failed to initiate a review on what was ruled a completed 20-yard catch by the Bills in the final moments of regulation. The play should have been reviewed and the play would have been incomplete if it had been, according to a pool reporter.

The completion gave the Bills a chance to tie the game and win it.
