It will be NASA's first spacewalk in over two years.
The space agency paused extravehicular activities (EVAs) at the station to give it time to investigate an incident during a walk where a thin layer of water appeared inside the helmet of an astronauts
NASA halted NASA-led spacewalks at the station so it could determine what caused the incident as it described it as a "close call". In the meantime, five other spacewalks have taken place at the station.
After completing its work and making the correct kit updates, NASA will conduct its next EVA on Tuesday, November 15. The first spacewalk for both astronauts will take place.
At 8 a.m., the pair will leave the airlock. As part of ongoing work to upgrade the station's power system, a mounting bracket for solar array will be put on the starboard side of the outpost.
The event will begin at 6:30 a.m. The spacewalk is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. There is an hour and a half later. They would like to spend seven hours outside.
The red stripes on his spacesuit will be used to identify him as extravehicular crew member 1. The extravehicular crew member 2 will be wearing a suit with no red stripes.
You can watch the spacewalk via the video player embedded at the top of this page or on NASA's YouTube channel.
NASA personnel will provide commentary on what the astronauts are doing at any given time, as part of the livestream. There will be live audio links between the astronauts and Mission Control.
The next two spacewalks are scheduled for November 28 and December 1.
