Cooper Kupp is on the sideline with an injured ankle. There is a time and a place for this.

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay said he didn't have an update on the ankle injury of wide receiver Cooper Kupp. It sounded bad.

Kupp injured his ankle while trying to catch a pass in the fourth quarter and left the game. After the play, Kupp was helped to the bench by the team's medical staff. After being checked out, he went to the locker room.

The media did not hear anything from Kupp.

Kupp left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. He said that initial testing pointed to avoiding a bullet. He played in the Week 9 game despite being on the injury report.

The wide receiver accounted for more than 30% of the catches this season. That's the highest mark a player can achieve.

He is the best receiver in the league. "He's a great leader for us and we will definitely feel an impact to him not being out there, but guys have to step up and we need to rally if he's not able to go." We don't have an idea of the extent of the injury.

Kupp had 72 catches for a pace of 153 over the course of 17 games. The Saints' Michael Thomas holds the single-season record in the National Football League.

He had three catches for a minus-1 yard.

Matthew Stafford did not clear the concussion protocol in time for the game.
