While awaiting election results that will determine whether or not she will be the next Governor of Arizona, the GOP candidate called her state's voting procedures embarrassing.

It has been five days since the election and votes are still being counted in the governor's race, with Lake slightly behind her opponent.

Lake questioned the validity of Arizona's state elections that show her behind in the polls and questioned the outcome of the presidential election.

Lake was a guest on Fox's "Sunday Morning Futures" show. More people are waking up to the fact that Arizona has a lot of problems when it comes to elections.

She showed that the state's difficulty in administering an efficient and fair election was due to in-person delays and voting machines that didn't have a printer. On election day, election deniers seized on reports of malfunctioning electronic vote tabulation machines in Arizona as evidence of voter fraud, though there are no indications those temporary voting site issues affected the election's outcome.

"This is a scam and voter fraud, no different than stuffing the ballot boxes," Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday, adding that Lake was taken to a Liberal Democrat district in order to vote. The Washington Post reported that Masters expressed doubt over the election results and called for a recount.

"We need to get in there and restore faith in our elections," Lake said, "We can't be the laughingstock of elections anymore here in Arizona." I'm not going to.

In the last four Arizona Governor's races, the Republicans have won with a high percentage of the vote. The Washington Post reported that a Republican-led analysis of the 2020 race found no evidence of voter fraud in the state.

Final results for the race in Arizona are expected on Monday. The Governor's seat has a lead of 50.8% over Lake.
