Anthony "Rumble" Johnson went 23-6 in his MMA career. The man was 38.
On Sunday, the MMA announced Johnson's death. Johnson had been ill for a long time.
The announcement said that the Bellator family was devastated by his passing and they sent their sympathies to his family and friends.
He had 17 knockouts and six decisions. He last fought in May 2021.
In September of 2021, Johnson posted on the social media site that he was in a battle and needed prayers. On May 17th, Johnson posted on the social media site that he had received good news from his doctor.
He's not doing well, he's going through some health problems, according to his manager.
For a guy who struck fear into so many people's hearts, Anthony Johnson was a caring person, said Daniel Cormier.
