Aaron Carter Died Without a Will

The State of California will inherit Carter's estate.

The family sources are telling the story. His attorney told him to make a will because he had a child who depended on him.

We're told that the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services took Prince away from his parents. He's been living with Melanie's mother.

Aaron's lawyer still advised him to make a will. The man died last week.

Prince will not be left without a warm place to stay. The child of a parent who dies without a will will inherit the parent's estate.

When he died, we were told he wasn't in a good financial position. A source told us that he was living hand-to-mouth and would spend his money quickly. The house was on the market so the child could have security if the house was sold.
