The first regular-season touchdown in Germany has been scored in the National Football League.
Tom Brady, who has received a rousing ovation from fans in Germany every time he has been shown on the video boards, and every time he has taken a snap, found wide receiver Julio Jones on a crossing route for a 31 yard touchdown.
Josh Jones beat Quandre Diggs to the pylon after racing at 20.23 miles per hour. It was the second fastest time of the season for the receiver.
On the previous drive, Brady failed to connect on a third-and-14 pass over the middle, and kicker Ryan Succop missed a field goal.
After missing three weeks with a knee injury, Jones scored his first touchdown of the season two weeks ago against the Ravens.
