As reported by The Guardian, the airline has changed its dress code to be more inclusive.

According to an internal memo seen by the newspaper, all employees are now allowed to have piercings, as well as subtle shades of makeup and nail polish.

Everyone can wear makeup.

British Airways has a dress code that is more inclusive. Virgin Atlantic allowed cabin crew members to show tattoos on their arms and legs in May.

The requirement for female aircrew to wear makeup was dropped in the year 2019. According to Insider's Stephen Jones, the airline began giving trousers as part of its standard uniform instead of upon request.
