Perkins did it all even though he was sick with the flu.

Brian Kelly said that he got sick before the game. He was throwing up as we went into our meeting.

Kelly referred to the Jordan Flu Game when he spoke to Perkins. Michael Jordan scored 38 points in 44 minutes in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals to help the Chicago Bulls win their fifth NBA title.

Kelly said that he told him that MJ threw up when he had his greatest game.

Perkins asked "Who's MJ?".

Perkins put himself in an elite company with his performance against the Razorbacks.

Not much else to say about Harold Perkins. His performance was one of the best I've seen by a freshman. He willed this team to victory today. pic.twitter.com/Q5GI0JtdaD

He had four sacks in the game, tying LSU's record, and he was tied for the most by a single player. In the last decade, no LSU player has had three sacks or a forced fumbled in a game.

Perkins is the first Power 5 player in over a year to have four sacks and two forced turnovers. Young was an All-American in his junior year and went on to become the No. 2 overall draft pick.

Perkins is a Freshman.
