The tree arrived in Manhattan on Saturday.

The Norway spruce was trucked into the city on the bed of a 115-foot trailer from the town of Queensbury, about 200 miles outside of the city, and lifted by crane to be placed in front of Rockefeller Center.

Although the New York City staple has yet to be decorated with its estimated 50,000 multi-colored lights and its Swarovski crystal star, onlookers still gathered to take pictures.

The ceremonial lighting of the tree will take place on November 30. It will be on display for a long time.

The tree only lasts for two months, but it still attracts half a million people to the Rockefeller Center.

After the holiday season is over, the tree will be turned into lumber for families in need.
