There is an emotional story of two worlds, Talokan and Wakanda, fighting to control their future kingdoms. The mid-credit scene of the Black Panther sequel contains the most profound revelation of the entire Cinematic Universe.

We meet T'Challa and Toussaint T'Challa. The answer to the question of whether or not T'Challa had kids in the comics is yes.

Time and death are two things that comic book lore always toys with, and T'Challa's history in the comics is no different. T'Challa is alive and well but he doesn't have any heirs. T'Challa has had multiple children in alternate comic book timelines and they have been a variety of things.

Most of T'Challa's children have X-men's Storm as a mother. This is a testament to the work of award-winning writer/director/producer Reginald Hudlin, who created the marriage of T'Challa and Storm in Black Panther Volume 4: #182005. The impact of this epic team-up lasted through multiple writers, timelines, and universes, and the characters still share a close relationship in the comics. There is only one place where Storm and T'Challa's connection hasn't been shown.

How might the introduction of Toussaint T'Challa affect the group? We can see plenty of lore to choose from if we take a closer look at the variations of T'Challa's line in the comics.

A-Next was written by Tom DeFalco and featured the next generation of the Avenger characters. T'Challa is both the Black Panther and an Avenger. They have a son named T'Chaka. T'Chaka can transform into a human/cat hybrid called "Coal Tiger" if the superhero is kidnapped. Coal Tiger is an early version of T'Challa.

T'Charra

T'Charra was created near the end of Christopher Priest's Black Panther run in 2001. 3, In a future alternate universe, an older and more jaded T'Challa has closed the country's borders again, reverting to the country's traditional isolationist ways.

T' Charra, the King's only son, does not respect his father and plots his demise in a play for the throne by quietly funding and collaborating with his enemies. T'Charra has a plan to lure T'Challa back to the US to kill him. When Faida and Hunter are lured to the wrong location to rescue the aging agent, T'Charra kills both of them and Killmonger as well, leaving only Faida's body on display. T' Charra is defeated by T'Challa with the help of Sam Wilson, and other people.

In 2004, a year after Robert Kirkman began writing The Walking Dead, he wrote a Black Panther comic. There was a power vacuum in Wakanda after King T'Challa died in the obscure run.

The country has been held together by corrupt leaders, but they can't convince K'Shamba to become King. The country was taken control of by Victor Von Doom after he attacked. After joining the rebellion, T'Challa becomes the Black Panther and defeats Doom to become the leader of the country. It's just another system of control, as K' Shamba seems to be being manipulated by Doom.

T'Channa/Colonel America

The two of them collaborated with Mark Millar on the zombie movie. In this storyline, almost every central character is turned into a zombie. T'Channa is the son of King T'Challa and the Acolytes.

The zombie plague claimed the lives of both fathers and sons. After his brain is swapped with the brain of Steve Rogers, T'Channa's body reanimates.

There is a different version of this character outside of the storyline where T'Channa is actually T'Challa's sister.

T'wari

The Black Panther Annual Vol. was published in 2008. The wedding of T'Challa and Storm's oldest son was featured in Black to the Future. The couple has five children, four of which are unnamed. Their middle child, T'wari, who does not wish to attend his sibling's wedding, is the main focus of the story. It has been revealed that The Watcher is looking at a single timelines. It is a great way to see the future of a country.

T'Chaka II and Sh'ri

A new character in the Exiles series was T'Chaka II, grandson of T'Chaka and son of T'Challa and Storm.

T'Chaka II is knocked out of his reality into that of the Exiles when he is caught in a blast created by Klaw. Here he is rechristened The Panther by the Time Broker, and along with the rest of the team, they fixhiccups across timelines. Sh'ri became a new and powerful Black Panther when he disappeared.

Azari T’Challa

One year before Spider-Man was released, Brian Michael Bendis wrote a novel about a universe run by the fictional character. Storm and T'Challa are two of the X-men who die in this storyline.

Their son, Azari T'challa, became the New Black Panther and joined the Next Avenger, a group of descendants of the original Avenger who all died in the war. The powers and abilities of the heart-shaped herb have been passed on to his son by his father and mother.

He made his movie debut in the movie. The story was adapted from the comic books to appeal to fans of Age of Ultron and Young Avenger, but they have never been made aware that Next Avenger is part of the MCU. The film doesn't show up on Disney+ where the rest of the titles are located.

Sky Panther

Sky Panther is an interesting character, who only appeared in one movie. She was introduced as the daughter of Storm and T'Challa in the time manipulation story, where the students of the academy are getting older. Finesse, a polymath and a "mimic" with the ability to take on any power she sees, uses Sky Panther's power to fight Korvac.

The daughter of Storm was introduced in the X-Men: Battle of the Atom event. It's assumed that a future version of T'Challa is her dad because of her strength and panther.

A'Di (niece)

I included A'Di on this list because her name sounds like "Haiti", which is important if you've seen the movie "Black Panther" A' Di is an Alpha flight cadet. Shuri is not T'Challa's mother or any of his other children.

If we are going to get a third Black Panther movie, we should look at the source material. The combination of T'Chaka II's personality from Exiles and Azari T'Challa's storyline from New Avenger makes the most sense in terms of inspiration.

We've already seen Kate Bishop, America Chavez, and others. The child of Heimdall, Wanda's magical children Tommy and Billy, and the grandson ofIsaiah Bradley are some of the people we've met.

As a new character, Toussaint T'Challa is free from the constraints of comic canon, as is his mother, as her character is dead in the comics. Kevin Fiege wants the future Black Panther to be anything he wants it to be.
