Mark Kelly was named the winner of the Arizona Senate race on Friday and Donald Trump demanded a new election because of his baseless claims of "tainted" votes.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that "Idiot, possibly corrupt" officials have lost control of the election in Arizona.
It is necessary for a new election to be called immediately. Trump wanted it that way.
Trump baselessly claimed that voting machines in large numbers weren't working in the state of Arizona. He claimed with no evidence that this is a scam and voter fraud.
He said that they are finding all sorts of ballots in Nevada. Even though Laxalt is on the same ballot as all other state-wide candidates, Trump claims they are pulling out all stops to steal the election. Laxalt was holding onto a small lead over Masto. Some of the votes still to be counted are expected to benefit Cortez Masto.
