According to Rolling Stone, Ye fostered a "cult-like" workplace where staffers' jobs were often in danger.

Almost two dozen people who worked with Ye were interviewed. In a chaotic, ever-changing work environment, the staffers said they had to agree with him every day.

An Adidas Yeezy designer said that his anger at them in everyday interactions was a nightmare.

"How he is on social media is similar to how he is with employees," the senior staffer said.

The staffer said they were fired for suggesting they play Drake. According to multiple staffers, West's criticism of their outfits created a culture where most people wore Yeezy clothing. According to a Rolling Stone report, one creative was fired after they wore a yellow sweater when West told them to wear black.

One of the employees told the outlet that they didn't leave unless Yeezus left. If a mega-superstar is there and the printer doesn't work, your job could be in danger.

According to reports, West told staff that his show was inspired by skinheads and Nazis. Fans and critics criticized him for wearing a "White Lives Matter" shirt. West made antisemitic and other harmful remarks in the past. He lost a lot of his business connections as a result.
