Party control of the upper chamber still hangs in the balance as Adam Laxalt's lead in the Nevada Senate race narrowed to less than 800 votes.

Only about 7 percent of the vote is left to be counted.

Over the last few days of counting, the Republican has been overtaken by the Democrat in the Silver State.

Mail-in ballots are the preferred method of voting for Democrats in Colorado. In Clark County, home to the city of Las Vegas, about 52 percent of the vote went to her, compared to 45 percent for Laxalt.

Control of the upper chamber will be determined by Nevada's Senate race.

While the vote count continues in Nevada and Arizona over the next few days, the Georgia Senate race will proceed to a runoff election in December.

As of Friday, the race for governor in Nevada is still too close to call.
