Meet Totoro. This evening famed animation house Studio Ghibli confirmed its new Star Wars project, which is called Discover Zen - Grogu and Dust Bunnies and is described as a "a hand-drawn animation." You will be able to see it for yourself very soon because it will be on Disney Plus.
The collaboration has been teased for a while. A short video featuring the studio's logo alongside Lucasfilm's was followed by a photo of Grogu and Hayao Miyazaki.
This isn't the first time Lucasfilm has made animation in Japan. The first season of Star Wars Visions was broadcast on Disney Plus. The producers of Visions wanted to showcase more than just industry giants. We wanted to tell different stories in different ways. There will be a second season in the near future.
