The New York Liberty guard, who was the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA draft, will be working at her alma mater.

Graves is the women's basketball coach at the University of Oregon. Graves' five pillars include passion, integrity, unity, thankfulness and servanthood.

"Sabrina epitomizes what it means to be an Oregon Duck and she represents everything our program is about," Graves said. She will be able to make an immediate impact on our student-athletes even in just a part-time capacity. She is a basketball icon that will allow us to connect with our players off the court.

The Oregon women's basketball team won the 2020 Pac-12 tournament and were favored to make a return trip to the Final Four before the NCAA tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic. She is the only player in NCAA history with at least 2,000 points, 1,000 rebound and 1,000 assists.

She missed most of her first season in the league due to an ankle injury. She was an All-Star and second-team All-WNBA selection this past season, and averaged 17.4 points, 7.1 rebound and 6.3 assists.

Ionescu said his family helped him develop his passion for basketball and all the values it rewards I joined a new family that embraced those same values and helped me grow even more as a player and as a person. I look forward to being a part of the family atmosphere of the Oregon women's basketball program.
