According to a former senior Trump adviser, Donald Trump will announce on Tuesday that he will run for president a third time.

According to Miller, Tuesday's "special announcement" will confirm Trump's entry into the presidential race.

A run-through of the event took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.

Miller spoke to Trump about his decision to run.

There is no need to be a question. It's true that I'm running. Trump told Miller that he wanted people to know that he was fired up.

Trump teased in a press release that he was about to make an announcement.

President Donald J. Trump will make a special announcement at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida on November 15, 2022, at 9:00PM.

The timing of Trump's likely announcement comes at a time when many Republicans are wondering if the former president should continue to lead the party. Ron DeSantis, who won reelection in his home state Tuesday, has been seen by many as the politician better suited to become the GOP nominee in four years, a notion that has rubbed Donald Trump the wrong way.

As Murdoch's newspapers and television stations questioned Trump's standing, the former president was anything but professional. Instead, Trump returned to form, attacking other potential challengers, including Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, who was beholden to him.

In a Thursday post on Truth Social, Trump said that Ron came to him in "desperately poor shape" after losing to Adam Putnam in the agriculture commissioner's race. Ron had low approval and no money but he said he could win if I endorsed him. I told Ron, "Let's give it a shot, Adam."

That is an interesting take. In a Friday post on his social media network, Donald Trump said that Virginia couldn't have won without him.

The former president is said to have been urged to delay his announcement until after the Senate election in Georgia in December.

Miller was one of them that day.

Miller told the AP that he would advise him to move his announcement until after the Georgia runoff. Georgia needs to be the focus of the Republican Party.
