Argentina play their opening game in Group C against Saudi Arabia on 22 November

Lionel Messi, who plays for Paris St-Germain, will play in his fifth World Cup finals as a member of the Argentina squad.

Lionel Scaloni has combined veterans such as Messi and Angel di Maria with younger players.

Dybala hasn't played since 9 October.

Saudi Arabia will be Argentina's first game in the group.

Poland and Mexico will be facing them.

There is a group of players from the Premier League.

Alejandro Garnacho was called up to the senior squad for the first time in March but has not yet earned his first cap.

It was the greatest surprise that Dybala was included. He had been expected to miss the tournament after he injured his thigh while taking a penalty. Dybala had scored in five straight matches.

Argentina is on a run of 35 matches without a loss. They haven't won the World Cup in 30 years.

"All of them are proud to wear this jersey," said Scaloni.

The goalkeepers are Franco Armani and Geronimo Rulli.

Nicolas Taglia is a defender for Villarreal.

Exequiel Palacios (Bayer Leverkusen), Alejandro Gomez (Sevilla), and Leonardo Paredes (Juventus) are in the middle of the group.

Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, Nicolas Gonzalez and Lautaro Martinez are some of the forwards.
