The Continuity Camera feature in Apple's new operating system allows you to use your phone as a camera for your mac. Through special mounts, this is possible, and Apple collaborated with Belkin for an official Continuity Camera accessory.

It's hard to get the iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Notebooks because it's backordered until December. There are other versions of the Continuity Camera mount on Amazon.

The stand on the back of the mount folds out when used with MagSafe. The stand fits over the edge of a Mac notebook like a MacBook Pro or a MacBook air, so the iPhone can be used to take video.

Portrait showing a bit less of the background behind you can be achieved with a landscape mount. When your phone is mounted to your mac, the camera opens up and you can use it.

The accessory is probably overpriced, but it works well. If you do a lot of video calls, the camera on the iPhone is better than the one on a Mac.

Center Stage support, Portrait Mode for blur the background, Studio Light for focusing the light on you, and a desk view are all features of Continuity Camera.

When it's not attached to the Mac, the Belkin mount can be used as a kickstand for the Apple device.
