The passenger on the flight from Thailand threatened to push the crew over if they didn't give him water. He thought the seat belt sign was still on. The video caption states that the ground staff security took him off the plane.
The man was escorted off the plane by an auxiliary police officer.
The incident was confirmed in a statement.
The passenger didn't comply with safety instructions from the cabin crew and caused annoyance to the other passengers. They said that the passenger was handed over to the auxiliary police at the airport.
According to the Protection from Harassment Act of Singapore, an individual can be imprisoned for up to six months for threatening another person.
