The Rangers players need to take a break.

The Rangers will play their 27th game of the season on Saturday at St Mirren.

Only Borna Barisic is going to the World Cup.

The number of games we play is not ideal for everyone involved.

The teams that are used to playing at a high level struggle with injuries. Those are players who have played at the highest level.

We had to do it in a shorter period of time because we had to play above our level in order to get into the group stage. It's even harder because of that.

Connor Goldson, Ianis Hagi, Tom Lawrence, Kemar Roofe, Fashion Sakala, John Souttar and Ridvan Yilmaz have all been added to the list of missing players.

The players and managers will be affected if a tournament is organised in November.

This is the first time we have had it and you have come from the season before. There is no time to give players an extra day off.

We had to qualify for Europe before the season even started. There will be a tournament in November. That's the best thing to do for me.

We need some time to relax. My players are tired. Look at my group. We don't have a phone number. We wait for the break and time to refresh.
