The armed forces are going to be at the game.

It will be the first time that officials from all three services will be involved in a League One game.

The match will be refereeed by an officer from the Royal Air Force.

Scott Jackson will be the fourth official.

A minute's silence and the playing of the Last Post will be held prior to the start of the game.

O'Shea said, "We are all indebted to the Army, Royal Navy and the Air Force for the amount of support we have all received to allow us to reach the professional level on the football pyramid."

During the pre- match ceremonies with guys that have lived through and felt the emotion of sacrifice on operations, there will be something moving stood shoulder to shoulder.

There will be a special moment. It is business as usual after the first whistle.

The anniversary of the signing of the armistice which ended World War One will be marked across the UK this weekend.

The nation's tribute to those who have fallen in armed conflicts around the world will be led by King Charles.

A total of 98 and a half years have been served by the four officials.

The camaraderie within a team of match officials is similar to that of the armed forces, according to referee Drysdale, who was involved in the conflict in Iraq in 2003

The shared end target and the team's close proximity are related to both environments.

"Remembrance Weekend is when the nation comes together and respects those who have served, serve now and the ones who have given their lives for their country," Jackson said.

For the first time, a tri-service team of match officials will work a game together on the same day.
