Hours after news broke that the company lost a top executive, there were more departures.

The head of trust and safety quit the company just two weeks after Musk took over, according to a report. Robin Wheeler, who was promoted to lead the marketing and sales teams, has left the company.

The departure ofRoth, who remained a public face at the company, is an especially shocking departure. Both executives were involved in Musk's company. Yesterday,Roth and Wheeler moderated a space in which Musk shared his visions for the company.

The departure of its CISO was one of the reasons why the chief privacy officer and chief compliance officer left. The latest wave of resignations on top of Musk's erratic behavior and his chaotic mass layoffs are likely to crater whatever advertiser and regulators trust remained in Musk's ability to run the company.

I've made the hard decision to leave Twitter. I've had the opportunity to work with amazing people and I'm so proud of the privacy, security, and IT teams and the work we've done.

I'm looking forward to figuring out what's next, starting with my reviews for @USENIXSecurity 😁

The company's new owner said that anyone who didn't report to the office in person would be terminated.

The story is developing.
