The newest member of the Las Vegas Raiders announced on his social media that he was retiring.
After leading the Raiders with 11 tackles in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jags, he decided to retire.
"I had an amazing journey with some incredible franchises and made lifelong friends," he wrote on the social media site. I have decided to step away from this career in order to focus on my family and future interests. I appreciate all the fans and organizations that have supported me over the years.

In the wake of the Raiders placing a pair of Pro Bowl pass catchers on injured reserve, and leaving Las Vegas short-handed at linebacker, the retirement of Martinez comes as a big blow.
The Raiders placed linebacker Divine Deablo on IR on Monday and Pro Bowler Denzel Perryman didn't practice Wednesday because of injuries. Jayon Brown has not played in a while because of a problem with his left leg. The Raiders have a first-round pick next year.
He was a fourth-round pick of the Packers in 2016 and spent the previous two seasons with the Giants. He played in two games for Las Vegas and had 20 tackles.
