The exceptional hitman, who left the criminal Underworld for a peaceful life with his wife, Helen, is back in the movie, and this time he's played by a man who knows how to act like a hitman. John is dragged back into a violent world after Helen's death as he tries to right the wrongs of his past. At the end of John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, an injuredWick is brought to the Bowery King, and they agree to team up to face the High Table. Guns, axes, and a lot of death are expected if the trailer is a tease.
The fourth film in the franchise will be directed by Chad Stahelski, who directed the previous three films. Lance Reddick reprises his role as Charon, the concierge at the Continental, while Ian McShane is back as the manager of the Continental. Clancy Brown, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Rina Sawayama are also part of the cast.
Ballerina is a spinoff of the JohnWick universe. Rooney is a ballerina looking for the assassins who killed her family. McShane and Reeves will play the roles ofWinston andWick. Ballerina is being produced. A limited series called The Continental is also in the works.
JohnWick: Chapter 4 will be in theaters and IMAX.
