Frisch attributed the close contest to his calm belief that 40% of the Republican party wants their party back, while Boebert said at a campaign event that they would have this victory.
A Boebert loss would be another blow to the so-called " red wave" that Republicans had hoped to give them control of Congress after key GOP House losses in North Carolina, Ohio and Michigan.
