Musk bombards his employees with bad news. In his first email to the rest of the staff, Musk said that employees would be expected to be in the office at least 40 hours per week.

The email that Musk used to end remote work was obtained by the news agency. The decision from the company's owner is not surprising, but it is yet another blow to the company's staff, which has weathered months of uncertainty.

In the early months of the Pandemic, Jack Dorsey, the previous CEO and co-founder of the platform, announced that staff could work from home indefinitely. A more flexible work-from- home policy was requested by the company.

According to Musk, the ban on remote work will be in effect immediately. He would need to personally approve remote work. This isn't the first time Musk has expressed his displeasure with the work culture. He stopped the company's monthly day of rest for workers earlier this month.

The information that was reported about Musk's email to workers did not get a response by the time of publication.

In an email to staff, Musk said that the road ahead would require intense work.

Musk addressed the company's remote work policy, as well as sharing some of his long-term goals with employees. He wants to make up half of the company's revenue by subscription. The absolute top priority over the next few days is to find and suspend any verified bots.
