The New York bishop who was robbed at gunpoint during a livestreamed service in July and then scrutinized over his apparent wealth is now mounting a lawsuit against a local radio station.
The morning host of 94.7 The Block, Tarsha Jones, has been sued by the bishop for defamation.
Miss Jones said on her morning radio show that the bishop is a drug dealer and that he used the church to hide the money.
His lawsuit seeks $50 million in defamation damages from Jones and Paramount.
Jones and The Block did not reply immediately. Paramount didn't reply immediately.
He has 1.5 million followers on the photo sharing site, and has previously pushed back against criticisms of his wealth.
According to the lawsuit, the woman gave him $90,000 to help her buy a home after she told him she had bad credit. She accused him of keeping the money and lining his pockets for his political campaign.

Anderson's attorneys said in the lawsuit that the first time they met was after Anderson helped her son get a place to live after a surgery. According to The City, Whitehead had been sentenced to five years in state prison for grand theft.
