  • The president teased that he would announce his campaign after the elections.

  • Trump's advisers are rethinking their strategy because of the GOP's weaknesses.

  • The goal of Trump was to show his influence on the party.

Miller, who was Donald Trump's campaign advisor, said Wednesday that he would be instructing the president to delay the announcement of his presidential campaign after the Republicans failed to win enough seats in congress.

In an interview with Newsmax, Miller said that the campaign launch should be delayed until after the Senate election in Georgia in December. Two years ago, the state had to hold another election for the same seat because no one got a majority vote.

Miller advised the president to hold off until after the race. Right now, priority A, B, and C must be about Herschel. This is larger than any other in the country. The focus needs to be on Georgia.

It is not clear if Trump will listen to his advice. Miller told Newsmax that no formal decision has been made yet and that Trump teased plans about a "big announcement" on November 15. It was assumed that the announcement was related to his campaign launch.

On Wednesday night, Trump sent another email to supporters about a "very big announcement" at Mar-a-Lago.

The plans seemed to be based on the expectation of a "red wave" in which Democrats would lose a lot of seats. As of Wednesday, the House could still be under GOP control. Both the House and Senate are close to being called.

The idea that he could influence GOP voters was suggested by Trump.

"If they win, I should get all the credit, and if they lose, I should not be blamed at all," Trump said during an interview with NewsNation.

The Senate race is still too close to call between the two parties.

According to a source close to the former president, Trump was reluctant to delay his announcement until after the Georgia election.

One of his advisers told CNN that he could see him saying that Republicans didn't turn out because he wasn't on the ballot.

A request for comment was not responded to by a Trump spokesman.
