The mainline carriers have cheaper tickets. The cheapest round-trip ticket on British Airways from LHR to JFK would set you back about $529, but you would save about $4 per passenger on the airline.

It's cheaper to upgrade on Norse than it is on larger airlines. It is also worthwhile. For the price I paid, I thought my Norse Atlantic flight was a great deal for the seat alone and I would choose it over any other flight.
