The public will be able to try out the secondiOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 updates when they are released later this year. Two weeks ago, Apple released the first publicBetas.
The iOS and iPadOS 16 can be downloaded from the PublicBeta website by people who have signed up for the program.
The Freeform app is available for both iPadOS 16.2 and Apple's mobile operating system. Multiple people can work on the same Freeform board.
For the iPad, the update brings external display support to the Stage Manager multitasking feature, allowing up to eight apps to be used at once. External display support is available for the M1 and M2 iPad models. The Home app architecture in iPadOS 16.2 is designed to bring faster, more reliable performance to homes with a lot of smart home accessories. The Home app won't work with devices that have been updated to the new architecture because of the requirement for the HomePod 16.2 alpha software.
There are a few changes that can be found in the feature guide for the new version of the software.
