Tiger Woods will play in the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas in December for the first time in almost five months.

Woods missed the cut at the Open Championship on July 15. At the Masters in April, he was 47th, and at the PGA Championship in May, he was 54th.

The Hero World Challenge will be held in Albany. There is a 20-man field. The reigning champion is from Norway.

The field was announced by Woods on Wednesday.

Woods was seriously injured in a car wreck outside Los Angeles in February of 2021. He said doctors almost cut off his leg.

On December 10th, Woods will play in The Match at Pelican Golf Club. He's going to team up with a friend in a match against two other guys.

Tiger Woods is expected to play with his son in a tournament in December. He hasn't said he will play in that event.
