The Brooklyn Nets have a new head coach.

On November 1st, Steve Nash was replaced by Vaughn as head coach.

Sean Marks said that Jacques was the best person to lead the group moving forward. He knows how to get the best out of his players, hold them accountable and play a team-first style of basketball.

In the middle of his seventh season as an assistant coach with the Nets, Vaughn was named the head coach of the team.

Nets guard Joe Harris said thatJV is a great coach. Having played in the NBA for a while, been a coach in the league for a while, had a lot of experience now as an assistant, he's kind of fine-tuned that.

When we were in the bubble, he made sure that everyone was aware of what was happening. There is going to be a lot of transparency and dialogue with him. He is not the only one trying to get everybody to understand. He makes sure that everyone is aware of what's happening and understands what's happening.

Ime Udoka, a former Nets assistant and suspended Boston Celtics coach, was thought to be taking over for Nash.

He was the head coach of the Magic for two-plus seasons from 2012 to 2015.

The Nets have a 2-2 record since Vaughn took over. The New York Knicks will be his first opponent as the head coach.
