Variety says that the former star of Vikings and Raised By Wolves will be playing a snarling warrior-man in Dune: The Sisterhood. The short version of the bio is that he is a bad guy, but it requires some explanation for anyone who isn't up-to-date on Dune mythology.
The Bene Gesserit sect, who use their magical abilities to shape the future of the Dune universe in the main canon, will be an early version of the Sisterhood. Valya Harkonnen and Tula Harkonnen are distant ancestors of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen from the time of Dune and they are played by Emily andShirley. If you think the main characters in the show are the ones you want to root for, that is bad.
The series will feature other people besides these three, such as Sara-Sofie Boussnina, Faoileann Cunningham, and Aoife Hinds. Diane Ademu- John is the creator of the show. Denis Villeneuve is going to be an executive producer. The Dune movie will be released in November of 2023.
