Evander Kane was taken to the hospital after he was cut on his wrist by a skate blade in the second period of the game against the Bolts.

Kane is in stable condition and will have a procedure.

Kane was cut by Pat Maroon's skate when he moved into the area just inside the Oilers' defensive zone after getting tangled with PhilippeMyers.

Kane grabbed the area of the cut with his right hand and went to the bench.

The stretcher was not used.

Maroon said that it was a frightening situation. I hope he is okay. You see a lot of blood when you look down. It is clearly not normal. The boys are concerned about him. All of us are thinking of Evander.

The game ended in a tie at 2-2.
