In the House, Frost will represent the state's 10th congressional district. He will take the place of Rep. Val Demings, who was unsuccessful in his attempt to oust the incumbent senator.

After the Associated Press and multiple news outlets projected him as the winner, Frost said on his social media accounts that history was made. For everyone who believes we deserve a better future, we made history for Florida. I'm thankful for the chance to represent my hometown in congress.

In an interview with Yahoo News on Monday, the 25-year-old Democrat and gun control activist said he would be starting his last day of campaigning with a 4 a.m wake up call.

He didn't know politics would be a part of his future until his supporters asked him to run.

He told Yahoo News that a phone call with his mother gave him the final push to run for office. He said he needed to run for congress for people like his mother, his father, his community, and his place of birth.

He quit his job as the national organizing director of March for Our Lives to start his campaign. He is going to Washington, D.C., after defeating his opponent.

When my mom was a child, she came here from Cuba. Her son is going to Congress.

She expressed her support for the man. He is going to continue to fight to end gun violence, take on our housing crisis, bring down rising costs, and continue to be the bold leader Central Florida needs in D.C.

Even though he was confident about his race, he said that other contests in the state were getting too close for comfort.

In general, turnout is fairly low. There is a lot of work to be done to make sure that it is better in the future.

According to experts, presidential elections in Florida tend to have higher turnouts. There is a chance for voter turnout to go up. We are going to win the last two elections. In Florida, the early vote numbers are not high.

The campaign of the progressive candidate raised millions of dollars in order to win the election. Over half of the contributions to Frost's campaign have come from individual donors contributing less than $200, according to Open Secrets.

Latino and Generation Z voters were the key to his victory. Latino Victory is a nonprofit organization that is trying to increase political power in the Latino community.

That is not a representation of a democratic society. Latino Victory is trying to change that in reality.

There has been a shift, as four Democratic Latino lawmakers hold a seat in the Senate, and now Frost will be added to that list as a new member of the House

He will be the first Gen Z and the third Afro-Latino to serve in Congress. We need that energy. Young people are needed in office. She said that Maxwell would bring renewed energy to fight for his district in Washington, D.C.

Climate change and affordable housing are two issues that will be focused on by Frost. He is a survivor of gun violence and a resident of a state that has been the site of mass shootings like those at the Pulse nightclub in Florida and the high school in South Carolina.

According to Frost, gun violence is an issue that touches almost every community. There needs to be more advocates in Congress that will fight to end this problem.

While he is excited and ready to make a difference in D.C., he knows that he can't do it alone. There isn't a single politician that's going to fix it It needs to be about a movement on the streets and a movement at the ballot box. I want people to know that we need to choose a movement of people to effect the change that we need.
