Only subscribers who pay for the service's top tier Premium Plus plan will be able to watch live TV. Customers in all of NBCUniversal's affiliates will be able to access their local NBC station 24/7. You can get Peacock Premium Plus for $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
Once the new feature is available in your market, some are going live as early as today, and everyone will have live TV by November 30th, you will see a new channel on the Peacock homepage.

Local programming has been included in Paramount Plus since the days when CBS All Access was still called CBS All Access. According to Paramount, its live TV stream reaches 99 percent of the United States. It was surprising that NBCUniversal was slow to counter that offer, but getting every NBC affiliate on board was no small challenge.
Peacock had over 15 million paying subscribers as of October. The paid plan is 70 percent more popular than it was at the start of the year. The majority of Peacock's subscribers are on the $4.99 Premium plan, which provides access to all of the service's content, including the upcoming World Cup. The Premium Plus upgrade has no ads and can be downloaded for offline viewing.
This is one of the cheapest ways to get a live feed of NBC stations. The price of streaming TV services continues to increase on a regular basis, with the most recent example being the hike by Sling TV. There are more entertainment options in those bundles than NBCUniversal has. For households that are big on NBC shows and overall programming, this may be enough to pull them away from other streaming services.
How long will it be until Peacock raises its prices? It feels like a foregone conclusion that every streaming service is competing for your attention and budget.
