The Birdwatch feature on the platform was renamed "Community Notes" by Musk.
Birdwatch is a feature that allows users to flag false information in posts. Musk said on Saturday that he wanted to change it to "Community Notes."
He said that his goal was to become the most accurate source of information.
There has been a lot of controversy over the past week due to a squabble between Musk and Dorsey on the social media platform.
In his last year as a CEO, Dorsey challenged Musk to say who he was.
Musk said that it was judged by the people ofTwitter via Community Notes.
"Birdwatch was a far better name and being more informative was a better goal for us to aim for," he said.
Musk told Dorsey that birdwatch gave him the creeps.
"Community notes is the most boring Facebook name of all time," he said.
"Not everything needs to have 'bird' in the name, and there are too many bird groups fighting each other atTwitter," wrote the CEO of the two companies.
The reason for the name was not the reason for agreeing with Musk. He said that "Community" or "notes" were not the right descriptions.
The White House credited President Biden with raising Social Security payments on November 2nd, but Birdwatch added a fact-check label to the statement. One hour after it was posted the account was deleted.
