The Colts hired Jeff Saturday to be their interim head coach. There is a time and a place for it.

The Colts have an interim head coach who has never coached above the high school level, and now they have a play caller who has never done his job before.

According to multiple sources, Parks Frazier, a passing game specialist and assistant quarterbacks coach, will be in charge of playcalling for the team. It was first reported by the network.

Saturday said during a news conference on Monday that he had been interviewing current staff members to find the best person to be the play caller. Frank Reich was fired by the team on Monday.

According to a source, the team considered quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich as a candidate to handle the play calling duties. During the final five weeks of the season, Milanovich was the interim play caller for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Reich is an ordination minister who was part of the wedding party. Reich promoted him to quality control coach in 2020 and assistant quarterbacks coach in 2021, after he was the assistant to the head coach in the previous year.

The leader of the staff in the use of technology and data is a graduate of the computer science program at the university. Sam Ehlinger will continue to be the starting quarterback as he has worked closely behind the scenes with him. He was a quarterback at Murray State.

On Sunday, the Colts play the Raiders in Las Vegas.
