Jones said the team is interested in Beckham.

Jones said on Audacy's 105.3 The Fan that they have all the appreciation in the world for what ODell is capable of. I'm pretty sure the Cowboys star on that helmet looks pretty good.

According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Beckham was on the Cowboys' radar.

Beckham hasn't played this season due to a torn knee. He said the injury happened before he played in the Super Bowl.

The three-time Pro Bowler could be medically cleared as early as this week, though it's not clear how soon he'll be back on the field. According to Dan, mid-December was considered the time when Beckham would be available to play for a team.

The Cowboys didn't do much to replace Cooper in the off-season.

Fifth-year receiver Michael Gallup, who recovered from a tornACL of his own, is setting career lows in yards per catch and receiving yards. In Cooper's absence, Cee Dee Lamb has not taken a big step forward.

According to Rapoport and Garafolo, Dallas considered a trade for the Houston Texans' Brandin Cooks but didn't want to pay his $18 million salary. Tom said the Cowboys tried to get Jerry Jeudy of the Broncos.

Jones and the front office can't address the passing game because of the trade deadline.

There is no guarantee that Beckham would provide meaningful help after the injury and the new offense. The Cowboys don't have a lot of good options.
